Today students worked in small teams to complete an Order of Operations Scavenger Hunt. They had to evaluate expressions correctly to move from one clue to the next — and once they finished, they faced one final (and very tough!) challenge.

I loved seeing how well they worked together, talked through their thinking, and encouraged each other. Activities like this help students build Collaboration, Communication, and Problem-Solving skills — all part of our Portrait of a Learner goals. I’m so proud of the effort and teamwork they showed!
