Principal's Message

 

BCMS Community,

I want to officially welcome everyone to the 2023-2024 school year!  I hope you are enjoying your summer and have exciting adventures to share with us.  Over the summer, the faculty and staff of Butler County Middle School (BCMS) have been working hard to prepare the building for the first day of school.  I am privileged to have the opportunity to continue to serve as the Butler County Middle School Principal and am excited to see the incoming 6th grade students.  This year Open house will be held on August 1st from 4:30PM-6:30PM.  All students will be able to meet teachers. tour the building, and receive schedules.  Online registration must be completed by all families, regardless if you are a returning student or not. Information on enrollment can be found at the district website.  

Please remember all incoming 6th graders are required to have their immunizations and physicals before the first day of school. These forms can be brought with you to the open house if you have them completed. 

It is an honor to work with our highly qualified and dedicated staff, our wonderful students, supportive families, and amazing community.  As you know, the middle school years are such a critical time in the social, mental, and physical development of students.  I look forward to working with each of you to make this school year a success.

Finally, BCMS wants to thank our custodial crew who have been working diligently to prepare our building for the start of the new school year. We also want to thank our school board for their continued support in helping to create a great environment for learning and developing future leaders. 

Enjoy the remaining days of summer!  BCMS looks forward to seeing all of the new and familiar faces as we return to school on Wednesday, August 9th, 2023.
